Free Use and Distribution Agreement for BibliaTodo Translations

1. Purpose and scope

BibliaTodo LLC, through its publishing imprint BibliaTodo Bible Society, offers the BibliaTodo New Translation (BTNT) to help people around the world access the Word of God. This agreement covers the rights that BibliaTodo LLC is entitled to authorize in its own contributions to editions identified as available. It does not claim exclusive rights over ancient Scripture, public-domain material, or third-party resources. This common authorization covers NTBT, BTNT, NTB-BR, and future original translations expressly released under this agreement. One authorization per responsible person covers all platforms and permitted uses, including websites, Android and iOS applications, and offline reading. No separate registration is required per language or platform. Available materials are identified on their official pages.

2. Personal reading and downloads

Personal reading and downloads are free and do not require registration. A BibliaTodo Plus subscription is not required. Exceptions and limitations provided by law, including any quotations permitted by law, remain unaffected.

3. Registration and automatic authorization

To integrate any covered translation into an application, website, or product, or reproduce it for distribution to others, the responsible party must be identified, accept this agreement, and verify their email address. Authorization is then granted automatically, without manual approval. One authorization per responsible party covers all languages, platforms, and uses permitted by this agreement; the declared uses describe the project and do not limit the authorization.

4. Permitted uses

Authorization is worldwide, nonexclusive, unlimited in the number of copies, and indefinite while this agreement is observed. It permits copying, printing, typesetting, format conversion, narration, giving away, publishing, distributing, and selling BTNT, in full or in faithfully identified passages. This includes printed books, digital files, audiobooks, websites, and free, paid, or subscription applications, as well as Amazon and other platforms. Each distributor may set their own prices. You may create editions with your own cover, design, and layout, including coloring Bibles, illustrated editions, wide margins or space for written notes, study notebooks, and other creative formats. You may sell, distribute, or give them away. These designs are expressly permitted and require no additional approval from BibliaTodo after you obtain the free authorization.

5. No royalties or commissions

BibliaTodo LLC will not charge royalties, commissions, license fees, or subsequent payments for the uses authorized here. Revenue earned by the distributor creates no payment obligation to BibliaTodo. Printing, hosting, store, tax, and contracted-service costs are the distributor's responsibility. BibliaTodo LLC undertakes not to bring claims concerning the exercise of its own rights that is expressly authorized by and carried out in accordance with this agreement.

6. Integrity and identification

The wording of the BibliaTodo translation used must be preserved, including the brackets and other textual elements of the edition received. Typography, arrangement, and formatting may be changed without altering the text. You may add illustrations, coloring drawings, writing spaces, and other elements you own or have permission to use. Passage selections must retain their references and must not be presented as a complete Bible. Commentary, illustrations, and other added material must be clearly distinguished from the BTNT text. Changes to its wording may not be presented as the official BibliaTodo translation and are not authorized by this agreement. Suspected errors may be reported to [email protected].

7. Attribution

Include the credit corresponding to the language used, legibly and accessibly:

In interactive media, link BibliaTodo Bible Society to the corresponding language page. In print or media without links, include the full URL. The credit need not be repeated in every verse or response. Preserve the release identification and acknowledgments included in the materials.

8. Study material and other resources

This authorization includes the Bible text of original translations published under this agreement, plus their own introductions and study notes when identified as available. Spanish NTBT offers text and a complete study edition. English BTNT and Portuguese NTB-BR currently offer the Bible text; their studies are not represented as complete. Plus tools, other translations, images, maps, recordings, and third-party resources retain their own conditions and are not included simply because they appear on BibliaTodo. The distributor may produce its own faithful narration of the text; this does not grant access to third-party recordings.

9. Responsibility and presentation

The distributor is responsible for their product, additions, marketing, and compliance with each platform's rules. Authorization does not grant exclusivity or permit claims that BibliaTodo sponsors, certifies, or endorses the product. The imprint and translation names may be used to identify the material faithfully, without impersonating BibliaTodo or claiming an unverified registered-trademark status. The material is offered in its available state, without promising suitability for a particular printing format or guaranteeing third-party rights.

10. Reference editions and preexisting rights

The conditions of this agreement apply to BTNT's own contributions that BibliaTodo LLC is entitled to authorize. Acknowledgments of OSHB and SBLGNT identify the Hebrew and Greek reference editions and their CC BY 4.0 licenses; they do not attribute ownership of the English BTNT text to those entities. The WLC Masoretic text retains its public-domain status. BTNT registration is not imposed on independent uses of those editions permitted by their licenses or by law. Documentary acknowledgments do not imply endorsement of this translation by their rights holders.

11. Continuity and corrections

Updates to this agreement will not retroactively impose payments or new conditions on an authorization already granted. Future editions will retain their identification. If a breach occurs, BibliaTodo may notify the responsible party and allow thirty days to remedy it; authorization will not cover uses that remain in breach after that period. This does not limit rights granted by law or by third-party licenses.

12. Acceptance and responsible-party data

The responsible person declares that the information supplied is correct, that they have capacity to accept the agreement, and, when acting for an organization, that they are authorized to represent it. Electronic acceptance is given through their typed name and email verification. BibliaTodo retains the necessary data, the exact agreement version, and the acceptance date to document and recover the authorization. Identity documents are not requested, and the responsible person is not subscribed to advertising.
