2 Corinthians 6
BTNT-2026-11-04
“At a favorable time I listened to you, and on a day of salvation I helped you.”
Look, now is the favorable time! Look, now is the day of salvation! We put no stumbling block in anyone's way, so that the ministry may not be discredited. Instead, we commend ourselves in every way as God's ministers: in great endurance, afflictions, hardships, and distress; in beatings, imprisonments, riots, labors, sleepless nights, and fasting; in purity, knowledge, patience, kindness, the Holy Spirit, and sincere love; in truthful speech and the power of God; with the weapons of righteousness in the right hand and the left; through honor and dishonor, through slander and praise; regarded as deceivers, yet truthful; as unknown, yet well known; as dying, yet look, we live; as punished, yet not put to death; as sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, yet possessing everything. We have spoken openly to you, Corinthians; our heart is wide open. You are not restricted by us, but by your own affections. In return—I speak as to my children—open wide your hearts too. Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership is there between righteousness and lawlessness? Or what fellowship is there between light and darkness? What harmony is there between Christ and Beliar? Or what does a believer share with an unbeliever? What agreement is there between God's temple and idols? For we are the temple of the living God, as God said:
“I will dwell in them and walk among them.
I will be their God, and they will be my people.” “Therefore come out from among them and be separate,” says the Lord, “and touch nothing unclean.
Then I will welcome you, and I will be a Father to you, and you will be sons and daughters to me,” says the Lord Almighty.
