Amos 2

This is what the LORD says: “For three transgressions of Moab, and for four, I will not revoke its punishment, because he burned the bones of the king of Edom to lime. I will send fire on Moab, and it will consume the palaces of Kerioth.
Moab will die amid tumult, with a battle cry and the sound of a horn. I will cut off the judge from her midst and kill all her princes with him,” says the LORD. This is what the LORD says: “For three transgressions of Judah, and for four, I will not revoke its punishment, because they rejected the law of the LORD and did not keep his statutes.
Their lies led them astray, the same lies their fathers followed. I will send fire on Judah, and it will consume the palaces of Jerusalem.” This is what the LORD says: “For three transgressions of Israel, and for four, I will not revoke its punishment, because they sell the righteous for silver and the needy for a pair of sandals. They crave even the dust of the earth on the heads of the poor and turn aside the way of the humble.
A man and his father go to the same young woman, to profane my holy name. They lie down beside every altar on garments taken in pledge, and in the house of their God they drink wine taken as fines. Yet it was I who destroyed the Amorite before them, whose height was like the height of cedars and who was strong as oaks.
I destroyed his fruit above and his roots below. It was I who brought you up from the land of Egypt and led you forty years through the wilderness to possess the land of the Amorite. I raised up some of your sons as prophets and some of your young men as Nazirites.
Is this not so, people of Israel?”
declares the LORD. “But you made the Nazirites drink wine and commanded the prophets, ‘Do not prophesy.’ Look, I will press you down where you stand, as a cart full of sheaves presses down. Escape will fail the swift;
the strong will not muster his strength, and the warrior will not save his life. The archer will not stand;
the swift of foot will not escape, and the horseman will not save his life. Even the bravest among the warriors will flee naked on that day,” declares the LORD.
