Isaiah 35

BTNT-2026-11-04

The wilderness and the dry land will rejoice;
the desert will be glad and blossom like the crocus.
It will blossom abundantly and rejoice with joy and singing.
The glory of Lebanon will be given to it, the splendor of Carmel and Sharon.
They will see the glory of the LORD, the splendor of our God.
Strengthen the weak hands and steady the faltering knees. Say to those with anxious hearts, “Be strong;
do not fear.
Look, your God will come with vengeance, with God’s recompense.
He will come and save you.”
Then the eyes of the blind will be opened and the ears of the deaf unstopped. Then the lame will leap like a deer, and the tongue of the mute will sing for joy.
For waters will break forth in the wilderness, and streams in the desert.
The parched ground will become a pool, and the thirsty land springs of water.
In the haunt of jackals, their resting place, grass will give way to reeds and rushes.
A highway will be there, a way, and it will be called the Way of Holiness.
The unclean will not pass over it;
it will be for them.
Those who walk the way, though foolish, will not go astray.
No lion will be there, nor will any ravenous beast go up on it;
none will be found there.
The redeemed will walk there.
The ransomed of the LORD will return and come to Zion with singing, with everlasting joy upon their heads.
They will obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing will flee.
