The LORD spoke to Moses, saying,“Take Aaron and his sons with him, the garments, the anointing oil, the bull of the sin offering, the two rams, and the basket of unleavened bread, and assemble the whole congregation at the entrance of the Tent of Meeting.”Moses did as the LORD had commanded him, and the congregation assembled at the entrance of the Tent of Meeting.Moses said to the congregation, “This is what the LORD has commanded to be done.”Moses brought Aaron and his sons near and washed them with water. He put the tunic on him, fastened the sash around him, clothed him in the robe, and put the ephod on him. He fastened the woven band of the ephod around him and secured the ephod to him with it.He put the breastpiece on him and placed the Urim and the Thummim in the breastpiece. He put the turban on his head, and on the front of the turban he put the gold plate, the holy crown, as the LORD had commanded Moses.Moses took the anointing oil and anointed the tabernacle and everything in it, and consecrated them.He sprinkled some of it on the altar seven times and anointed the altar and all its utensils, the basin and its stand, to consecrate them.He poured some of the anointing oil on Aaron’s head and anointed him to consecrate him.Moses brought Aaron’s sons near, clothed them in tunics, fastened sashes around them, and bound caps on them, as the LORD had commanded Moses. He brought forward the bull of the sin offering, and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the head of the bull of the sin offering. He slaughtered it, and Moses took the blood and put it with his finger on the horns all around the altar, purifying the altar. He poured the blood at the base of the altar and consecrated it to make atonement for it.He took all the fat on the entrails, the lobe of the liver, the two kidneys, and their fat, and Moses turned them into smoke on the altar. He burned the bull, its skin, its flesh, and its dung with fire outside the camp, as the LORD had commanded Moses. He brought forward the ram of the burnt offering, and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the head of the ram.He slaughtered it, and Moses dashed the blood against all sides of the altar. He cut the ram into pieces, and Moses turned the head, the pieces, and the suet into smoke. He washed the entrails and the legs with water, and Moses turned the whole ram into smoke on the altar. It was a burnt offering for a pleasing aroma, an offering by fire to the LORD, as the LORD had commanded Moses. He brought forward the second ram, the ram of ordination, and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the head of the ram.He slaughtered it, and Moses took some of its blood and put it on the lobe of Aaron’s right ear, on the thumb of his right hand, and on the big toe of his right foot.He brought Aaron’s sons near, and Moses put some of the blood on the lobes of their right ears, on the thumbs of their right hands, and on the big toes of their right feet. Moses dashed the blood against all sides of the altar. He took the fat, the fat tail, all the fat on the entrails, the lobe of the liver, the two kidneys and their fat, and the right thigh. From the basket of unleavened bread before the LORD he took one unleavened cake, one cake of bread with oil, and one wafer, and put them on the fat and on the right thigh. He put all of it on Aaron’s palms and on the palms of his sons and waved them as a wave offering before the LORD.Moses took them from their palms and turned them into smoke on the altar, on top of the burnt offering. They were ordination offerings for a pleasing aroma, an offering by fire to the LORD.Moses took the breast and waved it as a wave offering before the LORD. It was Moses’ portion from the ram of ordination, as the LORD had commanded Moses.Moses took some of the anointing oil and some of the blood on the altar and sprinkled it on Aaron and his garments, and on his sons and his sons’ garments with him. He consecrated Aaron and his garments, and his sons and his sons’ garments with him.Moses said to Aaron and his sons, “Boil the flesh at the entrance of the Tent of Meeting, and eat it there with the bread in the basket of ordination, as I commanded, saying, ‘Aaron and his sons shall eat it.’You shall burn what is left of the flesh and the bread with fire. You shall not go out from the entrance of the Tent of Meeting for seven days, until the day when the days of your ordination are complete, for seven days he shall ordain you.As he has done today, the LORD has commanded it to be done, to make atonement for you.You shall stay at the entrance of the Tent of Meeting day and night for seven days and keep the charge of the LORD, so that you do not die, for so I have been commanded.”Aaron and his sons did everything the LORD had commanded through Moses.
