Psalm 19
BTNT-2026-11-04
the expanse proclaims the work of his hands. Day pours out speech to day, and night reveals knowledge to night. There is no speech, and there are no words;
their voice is not heard. Yet their line goes out through all the earth, their words to the ends of the world.
In them he has set a tent for the sun, which comes out like a bridegroom from his chamber and rejoices like a strong man to run its course. It rises from one end of the heavens and makes its circuit to the other;
nothing is hidden from its heat. The law of the LORD is perfect, restoring the soul;
the testimony of the LORD is trustworthy, making the simple wise. The precepts of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart;
the commandment of the LORD is pure, giving light to the eyes. The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring forever;
the judgments of the LORD are true, altogether righteous. They are more desirable than gold, than much fine gold, and sweeter than honey, than drippings from the honeycomb. By them your servant is warned;
in keeping them there is great reward. Who can discern his errors?
Clear me of hidden faults. Keep your servant also from presumptuous sins;
do not let them rule over me.
Then I will be blameless and free of great transgression. May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable before you, LORD, my rock and my redeemer.
