Psalm 146

Praise the LORD!
Praise the LORD, my soul! I will praise the LORD as long as I live;
I will sing praise to my God as long as I exist. Do not put your trust in princes, in a human being who cannot save. His breath departs, and he returns to the earth;
on that very day his plans perish. Blessed is the one whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the LORD his God, the Maker of heaven and earth, the sea and all that is in them, who keeps faith forever, who brings justice to the oppressed and gives food to the hungry.
The LORD sets prisoners free. The LORD opens the eyes of the blind;
the LORD raises up those bowed down;
the LORD loves the righteous. The LORD watches over foreigners;
he upholds the fatherless and the widow, but he frustrates the way of the wicked. The LORD will reign forever, your God, Zion, through all generations.
Praise the LORD!
